Pat Brown – University of Kansas Football
Pat Brown was a standout player for the University of Kansas Jayhawks football team from 1994 to 1999. Known for his leadership and relentless work ethic, Pat made a significant impact both on and off the field. During his time with the Jayhawks, the team achieved a national ranking as high as 6th in the nation, a testament to the program’s success during his tenure.
In his senior year, Pat was selected as team captain, a role that reflected his dedication, leadership, and respect among teammates and coaches. Throughout his collegiate career, Pat earned several accolades, including:
- Big 12 Conference All-Academic Team honors for his excellence both as a student-athlete and in the classroom.
- Honorable Mention All-Big 12 recognition for his outstanding performance on the field.
- KU’s Iron Hawk Award, presented to the player who exhibits superior dedication and strength in the weight room.
Pat’s leadership extended beyond his individual awards. He was instrumental in guiding the Jayhawks through one of the program’s most successful eras, consistently competing at a high level and serving as a mentor to younger players.
After his time at Kansas, Pat played briefly in the CFL for the Calgary Stampeders before returning to the U.S. to pursue a career as a financial advisor.
